Alternative rock singer songwriter Natalie Merchant’s ‘Life is Sweet‘ showed up on yesterday’s Roswell, New Mexico on The CW — Roswell, New Mexico, Season 3, Episode 3, “Black Hole Sun“.
The hopeful song was played as Rosa and Liz are talking about Liz’s problems with Max.
Natalie Merchant‘s ‘Life is Sweet‘ is from the singer’s second studio album Ophelia, which was released in early 1988 via Elektra Records.
The album charted at #8 on the Billboard 200 chart, and also hit the charts in the United Kingdom, Scotland and New Zealand, becoming a commercial success for the indie singer.
Ophelia was also eventually certified Gold in Canada and Platinum in the United States.
