Quincy Jones’ ‘Soul Bossa Nova‘ was licensed for play on the procedural drama 9-1-1 this week — 9-1-1, Season 4, Episode 7, “There Goes the Neighborhood“, which aired on March 1st, 2021.

The track was played as Michael keeps a watch as Bobby and David go through the trash.

‘Soul Bossa Nova‘ is from the musician’s Big Band Bossa Nova studio album, which was released in 1962 via Mercury Records.

The track is well-known and well-liked as a Quincy Jones’ composition, yet the composer himself said it only took him 20 minutes to create.
