English musician Rhys Lewis’ ‘Hold on to Happiness‘ showed up on the soundtrack of The Resident last night — The Resident, Season 4, Episode 13, ”

The lovely mellow, soul-infused, guitar-based track was played on the popular medical drama during the baby shower, as Sammie wakes up from her surgery.

It continues playing as Nic tells Conrad she has just gone into labor.

Rhys Lewis’ ‘Hold on to Happiness‘ is from the singer’s debut studio album Things I Chose to Remember, which arrived via Universal Music/Decca Records in 2020.

The release peaked at #93 on the UK Albums chart.

Along with a burgeoning music career, Lewis has also crafted a successful career licensing his music for play on popular TV shows.

In just the last couple of years alone, his songs have been played on A Million Little Things, Legacies, Nurses, Grey’s Anatomy, Siesta Key, All American and Love Island (UK).

No wonder really as Lewis’s voice is gorgeous, and his songs are the type that easily grab your heart as they speak about issues all of us experience.
