German indie rock band Scorpions’ ‘Rock You Like a Hurricane‘ was that cool guitar-heavy song played on the latest season of the superhero series The Boys this week — The Boys, Season 3, Episode 3, “Barbary Coast“.
The song was played during the scenes in Nicaragua.
Not only is Scorpions’ ‘Rock You Like a Hurricane‘ a helluva good heavy metal/hard rock song, it is also the track the band is most known for releasing.
‘Rock You Like a Hurricane‘ was released as the main single from their ninth studio album Love at First Sting, which came out in 1984.
It charted at #5 on the Billboard Top Rock Tracks chart, making it the band’s most successful single release in the U.S.
It also hit the charts in France, the Netherlands, Canada and the United Kingdom.
