Listen to Scorpions’ ‘Rock You Like a Hurricane’ from The Boys, Season 3, Ep. 3

German indie rock band Scorpions’ ‘Rock You Like a Hurricane‘ was that cool guitar-heavy song played on the latest season of the superhero series The Boys this week — The Boys, Season 3, Episode 3, “Barbary Coast“.

The song was played during the scenes in Nicaragua.

Not only is Scorpions’ ‘Rock You Like a Hurricane‘ a helluva good heavy metal/hard rock song, it is also the track the band is most known for releasing.

Rock You Like a Hurricane‘ was released as the main single from their ninth studio album Love at First Sting, which came out in 1984.

It charted at #5 on the Billboard Top Rock Tracks chart, making it the band’s most successful single release in the U.S.

It also hit the charts in France, the Netherlands, Canada and the United Kingdom.

Since its initial release, Scorpions has re-recorded and re-released other versions of the song, with one even including the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra backing them.

As for Scorpions, the band has been together since 1965, and is still in existence today. Although Rudolf Schenker is its only remaining founding member.

Listen to Scorpions’ ‘Rock You Like a Hurricane‘ as heard on The Boys in the song’s official video, and on their Love at First Sting album.

Whether you like metal rock or not, you’ve got to admit it’s a helluva good song.
