Listen to Sexion d’Assaut’s ‘Casquette à l’envers’ from The Boys, Season 2, Episode 6

The Prime Video superhero series The Boys has certainly found more superb French hip-hop this week with the feature of Sexion d’Assaut’s ‘Casquette à l’envers‘ (Cap on Backwards) on the show’s latest episode — The Boys, Season 2, Episode 6, “The Bloody Doors Off“.

That awesome track was played during the Frenchie flashback before he was recruited into The Boys.

Sexion d’Assaut’s ‘Casquette à l’envers‘ is from the hip-hop band’s second studio album L’école des points vitaux. An album that was released in 2010, and ended up being certified Quadruple Platinum in France after it sold over 400,000 copies.

As for Sexion d’Assaut, they were a French hip-hop band originally consisting of eight Parisian rappers but with a revolving door of 69 rappers coming and going during the life of the band.

The band was active for 11 years, releasing four studio albums, a live album, mixtapes and a massive number of singles during that time.

Sexion d’Assaut disbanded in 2013.
