Sofia Carson’s ‘I Didn’t Know‘ is one of a slew of the American singer songwriter’s songs featured on the new Netflix movie Purple Hearts this week.
The song was heard on the film during the scenes at the Hollywood Bowl concert.
Carson, of course, wrote and performed almost all the songs for the movie’s soundtrack.

Purple Hearts stars Nicholas Galitzine and Sofia Carson, and tells the story of struggling songwriter Cassie and Luke, a military man she marries in a sham ceremony just so she can get access to his military health care benefits.
But, after a traumatic event, the pair suddenly find themselves with feelings for each other that they didn’t expect.
The Purple Hearts soundtrack is the first one Carson has written, but it seems most of the film’s fans agree she did a bang up job.
A seasoned songwriter already, Carson said it was a challenge writing the movie’s songs as she had to write them from Cassie’s perspective rather than her usual own.
