Listen to The Beach Boys’ ‘Help Me, Rhonda’ from The Bear, Season 1, Ep. 4 – it’s so cool

Legendary American rock band The Beach Boys’ ‘Help Me, Rhonda‘ was that cool surfin’ song playing on The Bear, Season 1, Episode 4, “Dogs” this week, as Marcus is in the restaurant kitchen testing out ideas for new types of donuts.

It is one of a huge number of awesome songs chosen by The Bear‘s Music Supervisor that really helped make the Hulu drama one of the best on streaming services at the moment.

The Beach Boys’ ‘Help Me, Rhonda‘ came out on the band’s The Beach Boys Today! album, which was released in 1965 on the Capitol label.

It went on to hit #1 on the Billboard Hot 100, and quickly became a Beach Boys signature song.

The song was written about a man falling in love with a woman who then falls in love with another man.

He is now begging Rhonda to please help him get over her.

Interestingly too, Glen Campbell played acoustic guitar on the track, while Billy Strange of The Wrecking Crew played ukulele.
