Indie rock band Third Eye Blind’s ‘Semi-Charmed Life‘ was played on Roswell, New Mexico last night — Roswell, New Mexico, Season 4, Episode 1, “Steal My Sunshine“.
The song was played as everyone gets together for a party, and as Isobel tells Liz that Anatsa is coming to the party.
Third Eye Blind’s ‘Semi-Charmed Life‘ was released in 1997 on the band’s self-titled debut studio album, which came out on the Elektra record label.
It was Third Eye Blind‘s first ever single release.
The song went on to become a big hit for the band, especially in the U.S. where it charted at #1 on both the Mainstream Top 40 chart and the Alternative Airplay chart, as well as #4 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.
The song was also a hit in Iceland, Canada, Australia, Germany, the UK and Scotland.
Twenty five years after its release, the track is still Third Eye Blind’s most popular release, and the band’s most recognized song.

As for Third Eye Blind, the rock band was founded in 1993 and, almost 30 years later, is still going strong.
They have released seven studio albums, with their latest coming out just last year, as well as two compilation albums, three EPs and almost 30 singles.
