Swedish singer songwriter Tove Styrke’s ‘Say My Name‘ was played on tonight’s episode of the superhero drama She-Hulk: Attorney at Law — She-Hulk, Season 1, Episode 5, “Mean, Green and Straight Poured Into These Jeans“.
The song was heard during that tease of a scene as Luke closes the hat box containing Daredevil’s helmet.
It then continues playing over the episode’s end credits.
Tove Styrke’s ‘Say My Name‘ is one of the Swedish singer’s most popular songs, although it wasn’t a massive commercial hit.
The track was released in 2018 on her third studio album Sway, which came out on the Sony Music label.
It went on to hit #85 on the Swedish, but was then named as one of the best songs of the year by Rolling Stone magazine.
‘Say My Name‘s music video features Tove Styrke wearing colorful pants and jackets in various styles, and filmed in both mirrored and kaleidoscoped shots, as she dances to the song.
The electropop track itself is known for its catchy and quirky ukulele riff, and addictive chorus.
