My Demon Ep3 viewers rise again as Gu Won tells Do Do Hee his secret

Latest episode of My Demon only .3 percent away from K-drama’s all-time high

The ongoing Korean drama My Demon, Episode 3 aired on SBS TV last night to a rise in ratings.

According to Nielsen Korea, My Demon, Episode 3 earned 4.2 percent of the audience share nationwide.

That is a big increase from the drama’s previous episode’s 3.4 percent. and very close to its highest rating of 4.5 percent the K-drama earned for Episode 1.

In Seoul, the SBS drama saw an even higher increase in its ratings last night, jumping from Episode 2’s 3.4 percent to last night’s 4.4. percent audience share.

The ratings increase took place during a vital time in the drama’s storyline, as demon Gu Won finally tells Do Do Hee his secret, along with what the cross tattoo can do, and as the final scenes of the romance drama ended with that explosive funeral scene.

In other words, it is likely the ratings for the next episode of My Demon will be even higher.

My Demon‘s performance on Netflix

As I predicted last week My Demon‘s performance on Netflix, where it is airing for international audiences, has also been superb since the K-drama premiered on November 24th.

According to official date from the streaming platform, viewership of the first two episodes of the drama put My Demon in 4th place on the Netflix Top 10 Most-Watched Non-English TV Shows chart after only streaming on the platform for three days.

New data from Netflix will be out on Tuesday, and my guess is the K-drama will continue to be ranked high on the chart.

My Demon stars Kim Yoo Jung, Song Kang, Lee Sang Yi, and Kim Hae Sook.

The Korean drama’s next episode will air tonight 22:00 (KST) on SBS in Korea, followed by an upload to Netflix for international viewers.
