Queen of Divorce Ep 6 ratings rise, setting K-drama up for superb 2nd half

Korean drama Queen of Divorce, Episode 6 aired on JTBC in South Korea earlier tonight (Thursday) to a nice rise in its ratings after it experienced a drop for Episode 5 on Wednesday night.

According to the latest data from Nielsen Korea, Queen of Divorce, Episode 6 earned 5.58 percent of the viewership, which is more than a 1.0 percent increase from last night’s 4.64 percent.

The legal drama also saw a similar ratings increase in Seoul, with tonight’s Episode 6 grabbing 5.80 percent of the audience share.

That is a big increase from Episode 5’s rating of 4.38 percent, and a nice way to finish out the K-drama’s first half.

Next week, Queen of Divorce kicks off its second half and, if the strong ratings for its first six episodes are anything to go by, we should see as good or even better ratings going forward.

The cast of Queen of Divorce

Queen of Divorce stars Lee Ji Ah, Kang Ki Young and Oh Min Suk in the main roles, alongside the superb supporting cast of Kim Sun Young, Lee Tae Gu, Seo Hye Won, Kim Si Hyeon, Na Young Hee, Shim Yi Young and Kang Ae Sim.

The twice-weekly Korean drama premiered on JTBC (and on Viki internationally) on January 31st at 20:50 (KST) to its lowest ratings of its run so far (ie: almost every episode since its first has seen a nice ratings rise).

The 12-episode K-drama is scheduled to finish its run on Thursday, March 7th, 2024 with its 12th and final episode.

Mark your calendars.
