It appears Queen of Divorce, the new Lee Ji Ah and Kang Ki Young-led drama, may just be catching the attention of viewers in South Korea.
At least if the ratings for the K-drama’s just aired second episode are concerned.
That is because, according to Nielsen Korea, Queen of Divorce, Episode 2 earned a substantial rise in its ratings compared to its previous episode — and this occurred both nationwide and from viewers in Seoul.
The Korean drama’s nationwide rating for Episode 2 was 4.89 percent, which is quite a big increase from Episode 1’s still-healthy 3.31 rating.
Meanwhile, in Seoul, the Korean drama performed even better grabbing 5.19 percent of the viewership — a substantial increase from Episode 1’s 3.36 percent.
In other words, Queen of Divorce continues to earn higher ratings than Destined with You — the previous drama in its time slot.
When and where does Queen of Divorce air/stream?
Queen of Divorce stars Lee Ji Ah as Kim Sa Ra, one of Korea’s best “divorce problem solvers”, and her business partner Dong Ki Joon (played by Kang Ki Young).
The pair work together to get justice for a husband or wife in ongoing divorce cases who is being treated unfairly.
Queen of Divorce airs on JTBC in South Korea every Wednesday and Thursday evening at 20:50 (KST).
Viki is streaming the Korean legal drama for its international subscribers, as is KOCOWA, with the first two episodes now available to watch on both platforms.
