Seo In Guk and Park So Dam confirmed for Death’s Game – no update on roles for Kim Jae Uck, Choi Si Won, Sung Hoon yet

There has been a small update about the cast of the upcoming Korean fantasy drama Death’s Game, which we talked about last week. (And no, there still has not been any update about Choi Si Won, Sung Hoon or Kim Jae Uck’s possible casting in the series).

What we do know this week, though is that both Seo In Guk and Park So Dam have been confirmed to be starring in the upcoming drama.

The new K-drama is based on the Death’s Game webtoon, which tells the story of Choi Yi Jae a man who almost six years after graduating from university has still not been able to find a job.

After he finds out the long-time girlfriend he just broke up with is getting married, and then loses money in a bitcoin scheme, Choi Yi Jae decides to commit suicide as he feels like he has nothing left to live for.

Unfortunately for Choi Yi Jae, his suicide only serves to piss off Death.

So, Death forces him to reincarnate 12 times so that maybe, at some point, he can stop taking Death so lightly

Only confirmed cast for Death’s Game so far are Seo In Guk and Park So Dam

Seo In Guk (Café Minamdang) is now confirmed to be taking on the role of Choi Yi Jae, with Park So Dam (Parasite) playing Death.

Yep, a female Death, so that will be interesting, eh?

Other extremely high-profile actors, including the aforementioned Kim Jae Uck, Choi Si Won and Sung Hoon, are said to still be in talks to appear in Death’s Game, likely playing Choi Yi Jae in several of his reincarnations, but nothing has yet been confirmed.

Death’s Game (native title이제 곧 죽습니다) is being directed by Ha Byung Hoon (Go Back Couple and 18 Again).

We will keep you posted as more confirmations of the drama’s cast are announced.
