Spoon’s ‘Do I Have To Talk You Into It‘ music video is Britt Daniel stripped down to muscle and bone
If you’re looking for an innovative music video, look no further than the just released video for rock band Spoon‘s ‘Do I Have To Talk You Into It’, another track from the band’s ninth studio album Hot Thoughts.
Because, instead of spending a ton of money on locations, actors and a music video ‘story’, Spoon’s ‘Do I Have To Talk You Into It‘ is just a Photoshop video of frontman Britt Daniel having his skin melted off his body, stripped down to his muscles and sinews, and then turned into nothing but bones.
His photo is later Photoshopped into a wolf, and finally Daniels is erased completely.
Pretty cool for a low-budget video, as it really does have an impact.
It probably also tells a story as well, as Daniel has said he wrote the song after a run-in he had with a producer. Maybe a producer that wanted to erase all his input until Britt Daniels felt like he was nothing and nobody?

The band themselves are currently in the middle of a European tour promoting their latest album. Their next concert is on November 2nd at Orangerie at Botanique in Brussels.
