The Midnight Studio Ep 5 ratings fall – K-drama earns lowest rating yet in Seoul

This week may not be such a great week for Korean drama The Midnight Studio, which is currently airing on ENA and streaming on Genie TV.

After all, last night’s episode saw another ratings fall, while tonight’s scheduled episode of the fantasy romance drama has been postponed.

According to ENA, there will not be a new episode of The Midnight Studio aired tonight (Tuesday).

Instead, a recap of Episodes 1 thru 5 will be broadcast in its time slot on ENA instead. (Here is the reason why)

The Midnight Studio, Episode 5 ratings

As for last night’s ratings, The Midnight Studio, Episode 5 fell from last week’s 2.47 percent nationwide audience share to last night’s 2.29 percent viewership.

In Seoul, the Korean drama performed slightly worse, dropping from Episode 4’s rating of 2.39 percent to last night’s 1.98 percent — the drama’s lowest rating in Seoul so far.

With Episode 6 of the fantasy drama now being postponed until next week, you will have to wait a while then to see if the Joo Won-led drama can pick itself back up.

Fingers crossed (and I think it will).

The Midnight Studio stars Joo Won, Kwon Nara, Yoo In Soo, and Eum Moon Suk.

It normally airs on ENA every Monday and Tuesday at 22:00 (KST), with Viki carrying it for its international viewers.

Viewers on Viki, by the way, are currently rating the Korean drama a very high 9.6 out of 10, so they obviously love it.
