The incredible British band Florence + The Machine were at Austin City Limits this week with an awesome performance of ‘Shake It Out‘ as part of a five-song set with music from their latest album How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful.
And ‘Shake It Out’ was even more fabulous than you might expect because Florence asked for the audience’s help to be the ‘choir’ And she explained what she wanted.
“So, as your choir mistress, here is your intention. You are very scared and hungover. So if you can channel that feeling, and you kind of feel like you need something to absolve you, so you’re basically like a hungover choir of angels. I feel like you can do this?
Florence + The Machine’s Austin City Limits set included ‘What Kind of Man‘, ‘Shake It Out‘, ‘What The Water Gave Me‘, ‘Sweet Nothing‘ and ‘Dog Days are Over‘.
