Gyeongseong Creature Season 2 premieres on Netflix in 3rd Quarter

With the first season of the Korean mini-series Gyeongseong Creature ending with a teaser showing Jang Tae Sang (played by Park Seo Joon) looking just the same, but now apparently living in the future, fans are desperate to find out what happens next.

Thankfully, Netflix has already announced Gyeongseong Creature, Season 2 is in production and will be premiering on the streaming platform some time in 2024.

Then yesterday, along with an announcement about other Korean dramas airing on Netflix in 2024, Gyeongseong Creature, Season 2 popped up as one of the dramas streaming on the platform in the third quarter of 2024.

That obviously means we can expect to be able to see Gyeongseong Creature, Season 2 premiere on Netflix some time between July 1st and September 30th, 2024.

Another Gyeonseong Creature Season 2 teaser

Not satisfied with just announcing the Korean historical horror’s premiere date, the streaming platform also included a teaser scene from the upcoming second season in the video it released to promote Korean shows and movies coming to Netflix in 2024. (watch below).

That scene shows Jang Tae Sang and Yoon Chae Ok (Han So Hee) in the future, with Tae Sang asking her “Should we join hands?” while Chae Ok replies “I work alone”.

We then learn someone has died and Tae Sang, of course, wants to investigate.

It is Chae Ok, however, who insists “You won’t be able to handle it, even if you find the culprit”.

In other words, the animosity they initially felt towards each other in Gyeongseong Creature, Season 1 does not seem to have dissipated.

If, indeed, the two we are looking at are Jang Tae Sang and Yoon Chae Ok, or different characters altogether.

And there we have it.

Gyeongseong Creature, Season 2 premieres on Netflix in Quarter 3. Look forward to it, as I know I am.

Meanwhile, watch the short teaser scene from the upcoming new season in the video below, along with the first season of the horror drama on Netflix.
