Where and when is Wonderful World K-drama streaming in the United States?

As the buzz around the Korean drama Wonderful World is becoming increasingly louder (it really is superb), American drama fans who prefer to watch their shows legally must be frustrated at not being able to do so.

After all, while Disney + is streaming Wonderful World in some regions around the world, the United States is not one of them.

Luckily for American K-drama fans, you will be able to watch Wonderful World soon, as the drama will be streaming in the United States on Hulu.

When it does, all 14 episodes of the drama will be available immediately.

When will Wonderful World be available on Hulu?

That will happen on April 24th, two weeks after the Korean drama ends its run in South Korea (and on Disney + internationally).

No, don’t ask me why Disney + has decided to air Wonderful World almost two months after everyone else began watching it, as little of what Disney does with their programming makes much sense to me.

That being said, when the Korean drama does air, at least you will be able to binge-watch it.

Unlike viewers watching it now, who are having to wait as the production company in South Korea dribbles out two episodes a week.

The plot of Wonderful World

Wonderful World follows Eun Soo Hyun (played by Kim Nam Joo), a professor and famous writer who is married to a successful journalist, and whose young son dies in what seems like a preventable accident.

Her tragedy worsens when the man responsible for her son’s death is only given a suspended sentence.

That is when Eun Soo Hyun decides to kill him.

After serving a seven year prison sentence for the murder, and still emotionally numb from her son’s death, Eun Soo Hyun, suddenly begins to wonder if the death of her son was not an accident at all, but due to something more sinister.

Was it instead a punishment for her husband’s journalistic investigations into the powerful and often corrupt elite?

While at the cemetery, Eun Soo Hyun meets Kwon Sun Yool (played by Cha Eun Woo), a man who has a tragic life himself as both his parents died in a fire when he was just a child.

Soon, the pair are not only consoling each other, but working together to find the people responsible for her son’s death.

Wonderful World is currently airing on MBC in South Korea every Friday and Saturday at 21:50 (KST) through April 10th, where its ratings are jumping higher with every new episode.

It’s really that good.
