Wonderful World Ep 13 earns HUGE ratings jump – sets itself up for series finale tonight

The South Korean revenge drama Wonderful World, Episode 13 set itself up last night for a massively successful series finale tonight after it earned a huge ratings jump both nationwide and in Seoul.

The new numbers in from Nielsen Korea just released show the nationwide Wonderful World, Episode 13 ratings jumping from its previous episode’s 6.8 percent to Friday night’s 11.4 percent.

That’s a huge ratings increase of almost 5.0 percent.

That rating not only matched the highest-ever rating that the Korean drama earned for Episode 9, it also placed the Kim Nam Joo and Cha Eun Woo-led drama as the most-watched show of any kind on Korean TV on Friday.

The K-drama also experienced a similar ratings leap in Seoul, moving from Episode 12’s 6.3 percent to last night’s 11.6 percent.

International viewers ratings for Wonderful World

The Korean thriller has also managed to maintain a solid rating of 8.2 out of 10 on My Drama List — a website with some of the stingiest users when it comes to rating dramas.

After last night’s episode, K-drama fans on the site are leaving comments praising the drama for being well-written, continuing the suspense and mystery right to its final episode, and for the superb performances by the main cast.

The final episode of Wonderful World will air on MBC in South Korea tonight at 21:40 (KST).

That’s 10 minutes earlier than normal as the final episode of Wonderful World is scheduled to be 20 minutes longer than its previous episodes. You’ve been reminded!
