DNA Lover’s Choi Siwon, Jung In Sun, Lee Tae Hwan, Jung Yoo Jin character poster released

The cast of DNA Lover are featured in a new character poster that has just been released to promote the upcoming TV Chosun drama.

The 16-episode K-drama is due to premiere on August 17th, with the latest DNA Lover poster continuing the theme of other posters as it features Choi Siwon, Jung In Sun, Lee Tae Hwan, and Jung Yoo Jin against various pastel backgrounds.

Seeming to suggest a plot that will be light, fluffy and fun.

The DNA Lover plot

DNA Lover tells the story of Han So Jin (played by Jung In Sun), a genetic researcher whose specialty is DNA research.

After realizing her boyfriend is a serial cheater, she dumps him and decides to use that DNA knowledge to find a genetically perfect partner.

Two men — gynecologist Shim Yeon Woo (Choi Siwon) and firefighter Seo Kang Hoon (Lee Tae Hwan) — are possibilities, but soon So Jin finds herself becoming entangled with Shim Yeon Woo.

At first, he seems to be the perfect boyfriend but, as So Jin gets to know him, she realizes he runs a mile once a woman he is involved with begins to get serious.

Firefighter Kang Hoon, however, is serious with his affection. He also appears to be strong and trustworthy.

Meanwhile, Jang Mi Eun (Jung Yoo Jin) is Shim Yeon Woo’s ex-girlfriend and a romance columnist.

She is also someone who is so liberal she is polyamorous — finding nothing wrong with having several partners at once.

Yep, this one looks like it will be a whole heckuva lot of fun.

DNA Lover will begin airing on TV Chosun on Saturday, August 17th and will air every Saturday and Sunday at 21:10 (KST) through October 6th.

Viki will be streaming the K-drama for its international subscribers.
