Doctor Slump hits #1 on Netflix Top 10 Non-English TV Shows chart with just 4 episodes out

The new Korean drama Doctor Slump has hit #1 on the Netflix Top 10 Non-English TV Shows chart for the first time, and with only four episodes of the drama currently available to stream.

According to Tudum, the Netflix-owned website, Doctor Slump is #1 on the Netflix chart due to having been viewed 2.9 million times last week (January 29th to February 4th), for a total of 10.2 million hours.

It is the K-drama’s second week on the chart after premiering the week before at #9.

The Korean drama beat out Baby Bandito in the #2 spot and the new Japanese anime The Seven Deadly Sins: Four Knights of the Apocalypse, which was in the #3 spot.

It was also one of five Korean dramas in the Top 10, alongside Captivating the King (#6), My Demon (#7), The Bequeathed (#9) and Welcome to Samdalri (#10).

Doctor Slump in Top 10 in 30 countries

Along with being in the #1 spot, the Korean medical-themed rom-com was also in the Top 10 in 30 countries, including Romania, Portugal, Japan, Egypt, Morocco, Thailand, UAE, Saudi Arabia and Hong Kong.

It airs on JTBC in South Korea every Saturday and Sunday, followed by streaming on TVING and on Netflix internationally.
