Listen to Dr. Hook’s ‘Sharing the Night Together’ from Resident Alien, Season 1, Episode 10

American rock band Dr. Hook’s ‘Sharing the Night Together’ was played on last night’s episode of the sci-fi series Resident AlienResident Alien, Season 1, Episode 10, “Heroes of Patience“, which aired on March 31st, 2021.

The song played as the mayor and his wife fight against the investigative team.

Dr. Hook’s ‘Sharing the Night Together’ is from the band’s eighth studio album Pleasure and Pain, which was released in late 1978 via the Capitol label.

The song made it to the #6 spot in the United States, #6 in Canada and also charted in the U.K., Australia and New Zealand. Being incredibly popular, it then showed up on several Greatest Hits albums released by the band in later years.

The Dr. Hook version of the mellow song is a cover of the original track released by Larry LeBlanc several years previous.

Dr. Hook themselves was founded in 1968 and performed together until 1985. Since the band members disbanded, Dr. Hook’s music has remained popular, and has been licensed for play on an enormous number of TV shows including Prodigal Son, Wine Country, Cold Case, Fargo and Family Guy.
