Listen to Gucci Mane’s ‘Dboy Style’ from Invasion, Season 2, Ep 4 as Montgomery drives the Jaguar

American rapper and producer Gucci Mane’s ‘Dboy Style‘ was that song playing right at the beginning of the latest episode of the sci-fi series Invasion this week — Invasion, Season 2, Episode 4, “The Tunnel“.

The song is playing as Aneesha is telling the global community there will be a coordinated response to the alien invasion later on that day.

It continues playing as we see a car driving down a country road, and then Montgomery at the wheel struggling to change the car’s gears.

The track ends after the rest of the kids in the car tell him to turn off the music, and play something else and he then switches to Seal’s ‘Kiss from a Rose’ (listen here).

When was Gucci Mane’s ‘Dboy Style‘ released?

The song is one of the 17 tracks from Gucci Mane‘s fifteenth studio album Ice Daddy.

That album came out in June, 2021 via the Atlantic record label, and went on to rank on three charts in the United States, including at #14 on the Top R&B/Hip Hop Albums chart.

The track also received an official music video featuring the popular American rapper taking part in studio sessions for the song while he raps about the designer clothing he likes to wear, and the expensive taste he has always had.

You a hater, you are not a factor (you)Big diamond choker on my neck, I got asthma (woo)Heavy watch on my wrist, it costs a meal ticketJust stack your money up, get rich enough, then we’ll kick it
It’s ’bout survival, I’m bustin’ at my rivalsI put a glacier on her hand, it went viral
Egyptian fabric on my skin, it came from CairoSay ain’t no cap in your rap but you a gyro (believe)

Listen to Gucci Mane’s ‘Dboy Style‘ as heard at the beginning of this week’s episode of Invasion in that music video, and on the artist’s Ice Daddy album via Spotify.

The latest episode of Invasion, a series that is nowhere near as bad as critics say, is now streaming via Apple TV Plus.
