Now that the smash-hit tvN/Netflix K-drama Queen of Tears has aired/streamed its final episode, tvN is making sure you don’t forget just how fabulous it turned out to be by releasing the series finale Queen of Tears stills.

There are 10 of those just-released Queen of Tears, Episode 16 stills, all of which feature the drama’s main cast in various scenes, and with one photo taken with several of the female cast (including Kim Ji Won and Lee Joo Bin) behind the scenes (see above).

The K-drama itself premiered on tvN in South Korea and Netflix internationally on March 9th, 2024, with its final episode airing/streaming on April 28th.

That ending garnered such huge ratings (24.85 percent nationwide), Queen of Tears, Episode 16 caused the Korean drama to become the 3rd highest-rated cable TV drama series of all-time, as it whizzed past two other equally superb dramas to grab that spot on Sunday night.

Considering one of those dramas was Crash Landing on You that, just like Queen of Tears, was also written by screenwriter Park Ji Eun, and I’m sure the screenwriter is thrilled with that result as well.

The Korean drama has also spent all 8 weeks of its streaming run on the Netflix Top 10 Non-English TV Shows chart, climbing to #2 on the chart after its final episode aired on the platform.

Throw in main cast Kim Soo Hyun and Kim Ji Won have also appeared high up various ranking charts in South Korea in the last few weeks, with Kim Soo Hyun even grabbing the #1 spot on the Brand Reputation Rankings for Drama Actors chart at the beginning of April, and it is obvious how popular the K-drama became.

Both in its home country of South Korea, and internationally.
