When the Goo Goo Dolls song ‘Iris‘ came out, I used to run 10 miles a day (I was younger, what can I say?), so it played on my headphones over and over. It also appeared on the soundtrack of that amazing movie ‘City of Angels‘ — so, yes, it was a bit of an obsession of mine for a while.
Then again, it was a bit of an obsession for everyone as ‘Iris’ was the most played song across every genre for the whole of 1998.
Fast-forward 16 years and I haven’t heard the Goo Goo Dolls ‘Iris’ for at least a decade, so I decided to rectify that today, and choose it as my Repeat Rotation Video.
