Queen of Tears Ep 7 ratings highest on a Saturday for K-drama – still a big hit on Netflix too

Queen of Tears, Ep 7 ratings dropped but were still superb

The ongoing Korean rom-com Queen of Tears, Episode 7 aired on tvN in South Korea last night to a drop in ratings.

Even with that drop versus the K-drama’s previous episode, however, the Queen of Tears, Episode 7 ratings were still the show’s highest ever on a Saturday.

They also easily remained in double digits.

Those ratings via Nielsen Korea were 12.83 percent nationwide, which is down from Episode 6’s nationwide highest ever audience share of 14.06 percent.

Audiences in Seoul were even larger, with last night’s episode of Queen of Tears grabbing a huge 14.05 percent of the region’s viewership.

That was also only slightly down from Episode 7’s audience share of 15.22 percent.

Queen of Tears remains popular in both Korea and on Netflix

With last night’s ratings then, it appears Queen of Tears isn’t ready to give up its crown for being one of the most popular dramas currently airing quite yet.

Both on Korean TV and, on Netflix, where it is currently ranking at #4 on the Netflix Top 10 Non-English TV Shows chart, having been watched for more than 30 million hours last week, with a total number of 4.2 million views.

Queen of Tears stars Kim Soo Hyun and Kim Ji Won.

The Korean drama airs every Saturday and Sunday at 21:10 (KST), with international viewers being able to watch it on Netflix around the same time.
