The BBC music show Sounds Like Friday Night kicked off its second five-week series last night with an excellent line-up, including American singer Halsey.
Other artists performing on the show were Years and Years, Snow Patrol and Meghan Trainor.
Halsey performed her new single ‘Alone‘ while wearing what looked like a white sexy nurse outfit, and thigh high stiletto heels.
And while it was not her best performance, as her vocals were weaker than normal, it did look as though that could have been caused by problems with her in-ear monitor as she removed it from her ear early on in the song.
Still it is always nice to see Halsey performing any song live, even when she is not completely at her best, simply because she is so cool to watch.
As for ‘Alone‘, it is definitely a sleeper as, the first time you hear it, I guarantee you will probably think “Meh”. Give it a few listens, however, and it begins to sound much richer than on first listen.
