The Korean Business Research Institute’s Actor Brand Reputation Rankings are out for June, 2024 and, in no surprise to hardly anyone, star of the recently ended K-drama Lovely Runner, Byeon Woo Seok, is #1 in the rankings.

As per usual, the Actor Brand Reputation Rankings were calculated by looking at data from the news media, social media, participation, interaction and community indexes of 100 specific actors who performed in dramas, movies or via streaming services for the period of May 27th to June 27th.

The other four of the Top 5 actors ranked in the June rankings are also not particularly surprising.

At #2, we have Chun Woo Hee, the actress who recently starred in both Netflix’s The 8 Show and JTBC’s The Atypical Family.

Ma Dong Seok, who was at #1 earlier in the year, is still on the chart at #3 after his still running film The Roundup: Punishment became one of the most financially successful movies of the year in South Korea.

He also starred in the hit Netflix film Badland Hunters earlier in the year.

Song Seung Heon has climbed to the #4 spot, as he is currently starring in the K-drama The Player 2: Master of Swindlers, while star of the latest Disney Star Wars project The Acolyte, Lee Jung Jae, is at #5.

The series itself has been panned by both critics and viewers alike, but that hasn’t stopped Lee Jung Jae from earning even more popularity due to starring in it.

Rounding out the Top 10 on the Korean Business Research Institute’s Actor Brand Reputation Rankings for June, 2024 are Kim Hye Yoon (Lovely Runner) at #6, Song Geon Hee (Lovely Runner) at #7, Roh Jeong Eui (Badland Hunters and the Netflix drama Hierarchy) at #8, Son Suk Ku (Troll Factory and A Killer Paradox) at #9, and Wi Ha Joon (The Midnight Romance in Hagwon).

Congratulations are in store for Byeon Woo Seok.

You can also watch the talented 32-year-old actor in his hit tvN drama Lovely Runner on Viki, and in his previous drama Strong Girl Nam Soon on Netflix now.
